2015: Saganakanoshimacho

April 20, 2015

DSC03065I actually had my most of my gear with me for once on this trip, good thing too, I decided to set up my gorillapod (a full-sized would of been better this time) on the rocky steps just before the river. Once again it was raining so I took this shot basically holding an umbrella over the camera the entire time. also I decided to go with the chronograph watch instead of a Movado or something which I used it to time the exposure which was a bit lucky. This was one of the times I had a variable ND filter on my Ziess 32mm and still had to pull out some extra filters to get the longer exposure. I ran it through a B&W filter after just to capture the mood of the day… down pour, misty and gloomy for how much walking and hiking we were doing.

Now is not the time for that
